How to install the plug-in for FileMaker Pro/Advanced, Server, and Web Publishing.
The plug-in comes inside a FileMaker file that can install it for the current platform. This works for all FileMaker products, except the mobile version.
To install the plug-in download and unzip the zip archive: PyFM.zip16.9mb. Inside
the archive you'll find the PyFM.fmp12
file and the license.
PyFM.zip
after extraction.Open the PyFM.fmp12
file in FileMaker. You'll see the following screen:
PyFM.fmp12
file. Here the selected version is
0.75.0b2; you can see the files for Mac OS X and Windows platforms. The
widget below the list of files shows the status of the current system; as
of now the plug-in is not installed. To install the plug-in press the Install
button. If everything went OK,
the current status will change to show the installed version.

of the plug-in into the current system.Note that FileMaker only installs the version that matches the current architecture. For example, if you open the file in a 64-bit Windows FileMaker, it will only install the 64-bit plug-in. To install the plug-in for another architecture, repeat the procedure in the matching FileMaker or install manually.
To install the plug-in on server the server must be configured to allow this.
Go to the server console, the Database Server
section, the Server
Plug-ins

step to update Server plug-ins
is on (by default it is not). The checkbox

should also be on.
If you plan to use the plug-in with the Web Publishing Engine, you
may want to also enable the same setting there: Web Publshing
, General

When the file is opened locally, the server tab says that the file is not
hosted.
